Wedding Ribbons

Here is a detail from a wedding stole design I am playing with. The pearls were fun to bead with and the 'ribbons' are made of two different shades of cream.

Rustic Beadwork

Here is a little beadwork I framed up as a gift for a couple I care for and admire.... I was going for a rustic 'outsider art' look and think it looks better in person than the photo shows... Or I sure hope so! The silk has two tones to it, raspberry and blue, the beading is also of two colors and pops a bit when the frame is tilted. The embroidery is done in simple pale blue thread.
